AmyLee’s stories bring the past alive in the way certain photos can make you nostalgic for a person you’ve never met. Whether it’s raw verses filled with the grit of life and love, laments about lost family, or sacred offerings about the natural world, she writes with her whole heart.

She worked in the book and publishing world for decades and now spends her days learning the craft of writing and supporting independent authors as they refine their work.

AmyLee and her husband live in the Foothills of California. After relocating from the San Francisco Bay Area, she found the Sonora Writers’ Group and is now a long-time member. Her thoughts and poems can sometimes be heard on The Local Scribe on the Motherlode radio station, KAAD and she sometimes hosts a poetry show on Twitter Spaces, The Poetry Show with AmyLee.
